Wedding 6 - Gold Coastwendy and jamesI first met James in his local pub near darling harbour, Sydney in January 2000. I was on a one year working visa from England. From early on in our relationship we knew we had something special and I moved in with him within 2 months of our first date.
In August 2000 I had to return to England as my visa was due to expire. James was going to get an ancestry visa and come to England. James arrived in England in October 2000. We lived with my mum before renting a little house in Kettering.
We spent 4 years there and then applied for my visa to come back and live in Australia, every one was wondering when we would tie the knot. We knew we would one day it was never in doubt, but we were happy as we were, and had our plans to go back to Australia and buy a house together.
After a sad goodbye to family and friends we were on our way again.
We arrived in Adelaide September 2004 and rented a house. We decided to leave there after 6 months and go to Brisbane. We rented for a while and finally bought our house in 2006, finally we had a place to call home and it was ours!
James, while on ebay decided to bid on a holiday to Vanuatu and we actually got it! I did wonder now whether he was going to propose while we were away as now seamed to be the right time but I never said. We were about to go to dinner one night and out of the blue he asked me if I would be his wife and presented a gorgeous ring.
I was in shock firstly as I didn’t get any idea he had smuggled the ring with him, he covered his tracks well!! It was August 2006.
When we got home we began the search for a wedding venue. After viewing quiet a few places we chose a little chapel at The Crowne Plaza, Surfers Paradise We went to the RNA show grounds to the wedding expo and this is where we came across Shaun Murray Photography. We are so glad we did.
From our initial meeting with Shaun we knew we had someone who was professional and who included extras that the others didn't.
21st September 2007. We had the best wedding day it was just how we wanted it. Shaun arrived to photograph the boys first in the hotel then came to the girls. It was like he was one of the family. He was never pushy and was always thoughtful of us all. Everyone enjoyed having him around.
The after service was second to none he took a lot of time and care over our photographs and presenting them in such an amazing way, everyone has commented on what a fantastic photo album we have. We would highly recommend Shaun Murray to any future wedding couples. Look now further if you want the best.
